ResolvedReal Content Locker, link to Smartphone Facebook App?

  • Author
  • Greetings,

I have been successfully implementing RCL into my website. Here’s it:

It has successful share rates on desktop view, but rather low on smartphone share. Here’s why:
    1. Main issue is that it shares via browser, not via Facebook App.
    2. People complaining that they already have Facebook App and they don’t want to share via browser.
    3. Sharing via smartphone browser often forces them to re-login because they’ve only done that via their FB App. Reasons to stop sharing: forgot FB passwords, too much hassle, using multiple FB accounts (yeah, the hardcore level users often do that…), etc.
    4. Certain smartphone browsers (like Chrome for Android) couldn’t redirect back to site. This only happens to some phones. Most iOS don’t have the problem (the new models anyway).

Wouldn’t it be great if we can have the sharing feature on smartphone to open the Facebook App instead of browser?

I don’t know the programming level needed to do this, but if you can’t do it then at least could you point me in the right direction? If it’s necessary, I might need to pay a programmer to do it.

Version PRO do it and more… 😉
To get it you have to donate 14.99 donation button in the plugin, once donated I will send you the plugin via email.

    Hi iLen.

I am a PRO user (by paypal email

Your PRO version enables mobile share, but it redirects to browser FB, not the FB Apps in smartphones. We want users to be redirected to their smartphone Facebook App. Is that something you have fixed in your new update?

Hope to hear from you soon! Cheers…

Hi, the plugin does not redirect anywhere once the user share, it stays on the same page showing the contents. You can see a show at one of the pages that are used.
